Charlese & Frederick,

Just wanted to let you know that as yet, I have not connected any part of my family to early migration to the new world. At this time, the Savage portion of my tree stops in 1824/25. As yet, I have not broken through the brick wall of my 3x Great Grandfather, and I'm far from the only person on the search too. Rather frustrating, but I'm sure with time and patience, a break through will come. :-)

Glad you have found the site interesting. It's been stagnant for years unfortunately, hope one day to have time to commit to maintain it better. Most of my work occurs on Ancestry and is shared via different Facebook Groups.

I came across this website last night. So interesting :) my Savage family came to Massachusetts from England in the late 1600s to early 1700s. I know that the names John and Thomas are both popular family names in my branch, and as recently as my father and my grandfather have had those names. Iโ€™m still trying to figure out more, but what a great source of information!!

I just came across this website. I am very interested to know more. My Savage family came to Virginia in the 1600โ€™s and but I know my grandfather was born in Speed, North Carolina in 1872.

Just came across your website. Great work!. My wife, Nancy Ellen Boylan, is a relative. Her mother was Marjorie Savidge, daughter of James P. Savidge and Ada Woodruff. You have Marjorie listed as having one child, Deborah, but you must have found a census after the 3 older children had moved out. In addition to Nancy (b 1953) and Deborah (b 1961), their other children were John G Boylan (b 1950) and Liz (Elizabeth, b 1948). All are still alive and except for Nancy, still live in New England (John in Massachusetts and Liz and Debbie in Rhode Island). If you want more information on this branch of the family, send me an email. They were all shocked by your site since James P provided very little family history.

Hi,

Iโ€™ve been researching my family tree and came across this website, itโ€™s been so interesting to see so thank you for putting this together. Iโ€™m not sure how the Savage family is connected to mine but Iโ€™d be interested to find out. My great great grandma is Betsy Hannah Daykin whoโ€™s parents were George Daykin and Emma Daykin (Love).

Feel free to send me an email! Looking forward to hearing back from you,

Hannah
